What documents do I need to rent a car?

To rent a car, you need a valid driver’s license from your country. A passport or national ID may also be required. You must be at least 18 years old.

Is insurance included in the rental price?

Yes, our rentals include comprehensive insurance. Certain parts such as glass, mirrors, lights, indicators, and minor scratches may not be fully covered. Insurance applies to the vehicle only, and an excess of up to $500 may apply.

Can I pick up the car at Zanzibar Airport?

Absolutely. We offer free airport pickup at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. Our representative will meet you at the arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name. Just provide your flight details when booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a charge of one rental day. No‑shows are charged the full rental amount.

Do you offer one-way rentals?

Yes, you can return the car to a different location within Zanzibar. A small one‑way fee may apply depending on the distance. You can select "Return to a different location" in the booking widget.

What types of vehicles are available?

We offer a wide range: economy cars (Toyota RAV4 3-Door, Nissan Juke), SUVs (RAV4, Fortuner, Prado), luxury sedans (Mercedes), vans (Hiace, Coaster), and 4x4 vehicles like the Toyota Land Cruiser 120. All cars are air‑conditioned and well‑maintained.

How do I book a transfer?

Simply switch to the "Transfer" tab on the homepage widget, enter your pickup and drop‑off locations, date, time, number of passengers then choose your vehicule. After submission, you'll receive a booking confirmation and we will email you the final price within minutes.

Is there a mileage limit?

No, all our rentals come with unlimited mileage. You can explore the entire island without worrying about extra charges.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), cash (USD or Tanzanian Shillings), and bank transfers.

Do you offer child seats?

Yes, child seats and booster seats are available for a small fee. Please mention your request in the "Special Requests" field when completing your booking.
